Dual Processing Treatment for Occupational PTSD and Moral Injury.
The Dual Processing Model supports workers with complex PTSD by addressing both trauma symptoms and the moral or institutional injuries that may continue to affect recovery and return to work.
In a WCB context, the treating psychologist provides care for the compensable diagnosis, while a coordinated second provider helps the worker process related experiences that may fall outside the funded treatment focus. The model aims to make treatment more responsive when symptom improvement alone has not restored readiness to return to work.

Comprehensive Psychological Assessment
Our Psychological Assessment service helps clarify your concerns, strengths, and support needs. Depending on the reason for your referral, the assessment may include clinical interviews, questionnaires, and standardized tests to explore emotional, behavioural, and cognitive functioning.
The findings can support diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, and recommendations for school or work. We review the results with you and provide practical next steps tailored to your circumstances.

EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured therapy that can help people work through distressing experiences, including trauma. It may help reduce the distress linked to difficult memories and change beliefs about yourself that developed from those experiences.
EMDR begins with understanding your history and preparing you for the work ahead. When you are ready, your therapist helps you focus on a specific memory while using guided eye movements, tapping, or another form of bilateral stimulation. Sessions move at a pace that considers your needs and sense of safety.
